Default zune software sees multiple files as a single file?

ok, just got my zune today and im pretty happy with it over all. after working with some playlists and id3 tags to make everything flow better, i ran into a problem.

i have 6 CDs (mix CDs. a single long mp3). they are all very similar. for some reason, the software will only "see" two of them at a time. usually its the 2 most recently updated. ive tried resetting the zune cache or whatever you want to call it and id like to use zsuite so i can edit it on winamp, but im getting some weird error and their forums are down and google yielded nothing helpful.

so is there a way around this? if i try dragging one of the files from explorer into the window, it just edits the properties on the files that are already there. ive tried editing the files so that they are obviously not the same, but even then it only sees 2 of them.

i tried searching and i tried google, it brought me nothing. hopefully you guys can help me out. thanks!
