Default What goes on over in customer support? >.<


I honestly didn't think customer support could get any worse. Well, the second time I had to send my zune back.. they proved me wrong. As some of you know, I had my fiasco last time where they lost my zune, but this time was a bit different. To begin with, I sent it back.. and online it showed received at repair center. Soon enough, about a week later, it was still the same status. My friend(who sent his in 2 days after me) was showing back as "product shipped back to customer" or w/e, so I checked mine. However, it was gone. The Zune was just gone off my current devices section. So... I called. Of course, they had no idea. They asked my for the SN #, which I didn't have(being it was all supposed to be saved online) and eventually they just told me they had no idea and to call back in a few days. So, I called back, showed them the Call #, and they pretty much had no idea what I was asking, and simply assured me it was being repaired. Now, a few days later, a new zune SN# showed up, one that was not currently being repaired. So, I called back, and of course, they had no idea what was up with that, and once again assured me it was being repaired... So now my friend already has his zune back from repair, after sending it back 2 days after me. I still have no idea whats going on with mine, and customer support continues to fail me.

That... really... sucks.

EDIT: Maybe they're too busy giving me headphones I'm not supposed to be getting?

That sounds like what happened to me, with the Zune disappearing from the Devices page and then a new one appearing. That just meant that they were sending me another Zune. A day or two after that happened, I got my replacement Zune.

That's odd. I would talk to someone higher up, and hope everything comes through well. The problem with hating customer service is that they still can't make you hate the product.

I've never had a problem with Zune support... I've only called once but they seemed really nice and sent me new headphones in two days.
