You could have gotten better headphones for the same price, but congrats on the 'phones.

Good job picking skullcandies. They're the only headphones I'll ever use.

That would be unfortunate, Skullcandy's headphones are style over quality, made for teenagers who want something that looks cool.

skullcandy headphones come with a lifetime warranty, so paying 30 for some decent headphones with a warranty with it... well it really helps a lot

(im sending mine back for the warranty actually right now, dropped em in the mail yesterday) what kind did you get?

In my opinion the sound quality is quite good for the $15 I payed for mine. I got the Smokin' Buds and I'm fully satisfied. I haven't found any other headphones this cheap with such great sound. And honestly, I could care less what my headphones look like, as long as I can listen to my music with decent quality. These suckers keep the sound in and out too, so my parents don't know what I'm listening to. <_<

I've used the Smokin' Buds, they're not worth $30 at all, not when you can get something like Creative EP-630's or JVC Air-Cushions. For 10 or 15 dollars, they're not bad, but I'd still prefer a pair of JVC Marshmallows, in terms of in-ears, they're the best bargain choice, especially after you mod them and give them some burn-in time.

Skullcandy plays the old trick of introduction all sorts of bass distortion, drowning out the mids and highs, it creates a sound that is more immediately pleasing to unknowing ears, but the benefits of a more clean sound, and of quality bass (rather than just quantity), usually becomes apparent once you've used something better.

I've always had tech difficulties with JVC headphones. They'd stop working after a month or so and I couldn't do anything about it. This happened with several different models. But, I find it ridiculous to buy the $30 skullcandies, yes, but I ghot the the $15 dollar ones and I'm satisfied. They work for me. That's all that matters.

Plus, I can only use certain headphones because the bony tab on my right ear is bigger than normal and it hurts it I use certain headphones.

Nice I have a pair of skull candies but for my birthday my dad surprised me with a set of those bose earbuds. They run for about 100$ but let me tell you man there amazing. There is no cracking after use they they just do not fall out.

Highly recommend!

I bought my ink'd version for 15$ and it was totally worth it. I think I may invest in getting a pair of BOSE headphones.

I have Skullcandy smokin buds too, and I will agree that they do definitely have a lot of bass, but for the $20 with a lifetime warranty I can't complain. Sound is good enough for me.
