Ok ... Hopefully someone else has had this issue and there's a fix.
Here goes ... I bought a USB turntable and I have been digitizing my 1000+ vinyl library and saving it on my HD. Some of the folders are in my library, some aren't. The problem I'm having is the stupid Zune software decides to edit the year of the album all on it's own .. EVEN AFTER I'VE REPEATEDLY EDITED THE YEAR. I'll give you an example; I have The Alan Parsons Project album "Eve", it was released in 1979. The Zune software keeps changing the year to 1996. I change it to 1979, it laughs at me and changes it back to 1996. This isn't the only one I've noticed, but it is one of my very favorites to listen to, so I see it often.Anyone else seeing the Zune change dates on its own? adoni Last edited by adoni : 05-24-2008 at 02:26 PM. My suggestion would be to first to tell Zune to only add tags, not change them(Hit settings, scroll down the the bottom, Make sure that Automatically Add is still checked, but click Only Add Missing Information), and then go to WMP and make the changes WHILE THE ZUNE PROGRAM IS OFF. It usually listens then.
