Dont Like Zunes anymore

I used to love my zune when it worked but now im just fed up with it and thinking of a buying an ipod that will sync items when i want it to. Iv now reset my libary 4 times within the 4 weeks of owning it! which also takes ages to re sync all my music. For some reason it just randomly stop syncing cirtain song videos or pictures. At the moment im trying to sync some videos some in mp4 format and some in wmv. first the mp4 synced but wmv didnt now its the other way round. plus my zune software wont update if i add new videos or songs into the monitored folders.

This is just plain rubbish and stupid

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. I haven't had anything very similar(except for my software not detecting new pictures in the monitered folder) but it's no biggie, just drag and drop em in .

Have you tried uninstalling with UnZoone and reinstalling with the full package?

That sucks. I'm having issues with syncing videos too. It'll convert videos that are in the proper format

Hey guys, sorry i was so angry. Ya know them moments when ya just wanna pick up ya pc n all ya electrical good n just burn em all!!! well it was one of then mements! Iv just hard reset my zune reinstall software and reset and started from scratch. I just really wish microsoft would sort the software finally. Thanks for the fast replys, just needed to blow some steam!

Iv not tried that yet but I will if im still having problems. I assume that unzoone is different to just running the uninstaller?

UnZoone removes all traces of the software. The Microsoft Uninstaller leaves behind registery entries.

even if it's in the right format it might be in the wrong resolution, that's why it still converts it...

I know that, which is why it's so irritating. I'm using the same converter and the software picks and chooses what it needs to convert. I never change the settings, yet some will sync perfectly while other won't. Anyway, this isn't my thread. I was just pointing out that he isn't the only one having issues with syncing.

that's bad news

ipod software is more confusing to me.. drag and drop is same as zune software. this 2 companies are using stupid softwares in my opinion to be honest..

Well unzoone didnt work. So believe it or not I just reinstalled windows and so far its working again. Il just have to wait and see how long its lasts before it goes wrong again. Maybe it could have just been a problem with windows OS all along.

guess what windows didnt all properly due to a boot.ini file prob. Any so i had to reinstall again and guess what zune software has only sync half of my songs no video and no picuture. what a complete load of rubbish
