I wouldent see why not. Especially because they don't sell Zune 30's anymore. I woulden't offer at first though. Just say "It broke, I want a new one" They might just give it for free. Which would be nice.

They actually should have zune 30s in stock still, but just on clearance now, but i'm pretty sure that bestbuy will let you get a zune 80 anyways for paying about $50-$100 more.

Sure. They'd probably do that. And it doesn't hurt to ask.

wow, your chances of getting a zune 80 for that zune 30 are pretty high. fingures crossed for you bro. if they give you a zune 30, ask id you can get a zune 80 and pay the diference. but they might just be nice and give you a zune 80.

well, if you paid 250 for a device, I thought that's the amount you recieve back for it(at least that's how it works at Costco) I don't think it matters what version it is. But w/e, just give it a shot and even if you have to pay an extra 10-50 like RTH said, it's worth it.

The insurance covers the price you pay for the device.

the way the best buy warranty works actually is like this.
You call a number on the warranty slip you have, you tell them your Zune is busted They will send you a sticker, in which you put on your Zune box and hen ship it to there repiar headquarters. If all goes well, in about 2 weeks you will receive a gift card in the mail with approximately how much you spent on your Zune which can be used for a new one. Ive tried going to the store, theyll tell you you have to ship it into there repair headquarters, its a pain too, can take up to 4 months to get the giftcard. |

It depends on whether it is a replacement plan or repair plan. I think my zune 4 is on a replacement plan...meaning I can bring it in for a replacement if it breaks. It's a pretty good deal. It is a pain to deal with the repair centers, but at least you are getting something. Considering the device could be far out of the manufacturer's warranty, if you didn't get the plan, you'd probably be SOL.

Wow. Then I have an odd best buy. They dont have Zune 30's anymore. Only the 4/8/80.
Although I rarely check, so maybe they have more by now. I like my Zune 30, so I never look at replacements.
