can someone tell me or show me a site where i can download free tv shows (not from limewire and not by downloading a lil short clip from google video and preferably not from a torrent) thanx in advance

is downloading tv shows illegal thats i dont think it is cause normal tv is free its aired just like a radio so why would it be illegal???

Yes. Downloading music, even though you can hear it on the radio is illegal also.
