there has to be a third generation, they're not just going to stop.
But i think we need to stop say "Zune 3" and "zune 2" and stuff, what about when we get to the 8th generation? "Zune 8"? you know? I don't like the sound of that. Let's just call them Zunes.

I doubt there will be a new zune in the next year the way these ones are selling. Maybe they'll make some minor changes to the Hardware but I don't think there will be a 'new' zune. And if there is I hope to god it's not touch

Sure, it's an improvement... but 1 million in a year is still not great. They need new models, and new ones soon. Right now zunes are as good as ipods, if not better. We need a model that is clearly dominant. If they wait too long, apple will regain the lost marketshare.

I can't wait till a new Zune comes out... but what will they do? they already have all the major HDD capacities covered. Whats next, 160GB? What a waste. DO IT

Sure, but they are just concepts of some people not affiliated with Microsoft and who just happen to have Photoshop or a similar program. Thus, they carry very little weight and shouldn't be considered a possible design for the 3rd generation Zunes.

well, if the zune 3 will have a touch screen, im not sure it will be that great. tbh, i dont really like touch screens that much. it gives you less option in protecting your device. idk, i rather simple bottuns.
