If i format my Zune, will the album art disappear?

Im thinking of formatting it, bc the program wont let me delete episodes that i have on it, but i spend a good 4 hours searching for custom album art for about 400 songs, so will all the art dissappear?

Im thinking that if i transfer all my songs onto my computer, that when i resync them, the art will remain the same.

Am i right?

i don't think it will delete the album.. just back it up to be safe...

How do i back up the zune? do you mean syncing all the songs to my computer before formatting?

are you saying that your songs arent on your pc? only your zune? in that case i do not know, but, speaking from experience, if you have the albums and stuff on your pc, and you manually added the album art, i know that if you reformat and resync the art will remain the same.

you can do a reverse sync as in copying music from zune to your computer.
