It's selling at the same rate of last year.
Market share went from 3 to 4 percent. One year one percent would be a nice rate. I wouldn't mind waiting another few years to see zune take at least 1/10th of the market share.

It sounds disappointing, but remember, the Zune is a US-only product, with Canada coming soon. Its competitors are sold worldwide (in vending machines, even). That's not playing the numbers correctly. How many Apple and Sandisk players were sold in the same available market? Probably more, but nowhere near the inflammatory statement: "Apple in its latest quarter sold 10.6 million iPods, or more than five times Microsoft's cumulative sales to date."

Of course it sells internationally.
Once the Zune starts selling internationally we should sell at least a little better.

My thought, when did sandisk become that popular? Did it really sell that much? Was it just the Sansa or was it other devices too?
