Exclamation Zune RMA Poll

Hello, everyone. I need the help of this community in finding out the RMA rate of zunes. Everyone who I know who owns a zune has RMA'ed his/her device at least once and got back a new device. This made me start wondering about the RMA rate of the zune and if it is as high as the xbox. I have a hunch it is(At least the fist gen zunes). Please vote in the poll and select the correct choice that applies to you.

I have never once had a problem with my zune, I had a charging problem the first day but that was due to my own ineptitude rather than faulty design.

I've never owned a Zune that was needed to be sent back to MS.

Had both of mine since Day 1 Public Release (30GB) AND (80GB).

Both still holding up extremely well. 30GB is getting bogged down, but that's because there is only 2.32GB of free space remaining.

I don't know if you can compare the two (xbox 360 and Zune). Yes they are both Microsoft products, but they are vastly different. One is a portable media device which is prone to drops, dying batteries, and other problems. The other is a mostly stationary gaming device that would rarely be moved and has no battery.

The xbox 360 has experienced well documented quality control issues. That is the primary reason for MS extending the manufacturer's warranty on it.

The Zune, from what I can tell, has had no such issues. Sure, there may be RMA's (Return Merchandise Authorization) but not at NEAR the rate of the 360. In your case, maybe it was a bad shipment that came to the store, who knows.

I've only had mine for a month, but it is working great so far. I go for flash devices to not have to worry about moving parts and shock.
