"Not Available in Your Region", I'm in Florida

I don't have a Zune yet, but I figured I'd make an account for when I do get it. So I went to the Zune website, and when I tried to make a "Social" account, I get a message saying "Not Available in Your Region" and a bunch of crap telling me to try again or whatever. What's going on? How is it not in my region if I live in the US?

I hope I'm not making a bad choice by getting a Zune, but it looks that way if I'm getting problems before I even have the thing.

Maybe it knows Florida's secret plan to secede from the US.

What email are you using? Does it have a Windows Live account already? And if so, then it's probably set to somewhere else. Don't blame the website.

are you in the extreme southern part of Florida? could be mistaking you for one of the nearby non us islands.

Yeah I'm in South Florida... weird that it would cause it to think I wasn't in the US.

I am too. I haven't had any problems with it. I don't think it's that.

Start - Control Panel - Regional and Language Options - Change location to USA
