Default problem when I sync with my computer

I just got the Zune 80 and downloaded the software/installed it. I began transferring music/video/pictures fine.

After I delete music/video/picture files under my documents in my computer of files that I've already transferred to the Zune, when I resync with the Zune, those files are also no longer on my Zune.

I don't have even close to 80G on my computers hard drive so it appears I can't ever fill the Zune close to capacity if I have to keep all Zune files also on my computer.

Is there a way to erase files on my computer without it disappearing from my Zune each time I sync it?

Nah bro, as far as I know thats part of the software. There might be a 3rd party app that was developed, check the zune hacks part of the site.

What you can do is when you connect your Zune 80 and sync all you need, before you disconnect, go to settings then device and click on the button that says: "Forget This Device." Then you can delete what you want from your computer. From then on each time you connect your Zune the software will ask you if you want to connect as a guest or use this as your primary computer for the Zune. Just choose to sync as a guest each time and sync what you want to your Zune.
