I am a new Zune 80 owner. (It's in the mail). It is a mother's day present. My question is the zune in question will be used at work, home and while traveling. In all cases it will be hooked up to a different computer (4 in all....). I am thinking my best bet is to set up the zune as guest in all cases and hopefully pick and choose what music and videos to add. I really, really wish there was a good manual to review that explains all the options.

There is a 3rd party app here, that allows you to disable the guest zune thing, and allow you to use it on any computer you have your zune connected to.

that sounds good, might have to try it if I run into problems.
Well I am setting up my software, music before hooking up the zune, giving as a gift later want it to be ready. My next question that wasn't obvious as I browsed the software reverse scynch, and is it true it will not automatically scynch videos.. So far I like the software, it seems very easy to modify the tags, and playlists seems simple enough. Though I understand why people would like to do it on the fly on the device away from puter.. I am going to take it slow not add all my music at once...... |

you don't have to worry about that though. If you connect your Zune as a guest you can do anything that the home user can do, there's no difference. But if you connect it to a computer and make that your home, you can make another computer your home and it won't do anything to the files that you already have on your Zune, you'll be good to go.
