Default Zune 30 discontinued?

Is it true that the Zune 30 is being discontinued? Every store's website that I look at doesn't even have it listed anymore. If not, then does anybody think they may go on really good sales Memorial Day week?

go to Target people.. if you can find any zune 30.. price range should be about $50-$132... . thats one place getting rid of it.. Bestbuy is slowly trying to get rid of it by having a small price change as in only $20 off of $199.99..

They want to sell their Zune 80, they were going to discontinue the 30 eventually.

The only model of Zune I've yet to see at Target every time I go is the red Zune 80 and that's because it hasn't made it out yet. Target has them in stock without fail. It might not be the color you want, for the Zune 30 anyway, but they have every model and they always each color for the flash Zunes.

it seems to be the right thing to discontinue zune 30 though.. since its getting old.. and the zune v2 is mainly taking it over already..

It would be, but only if another Zune is coming to take it's place. There must be something in the middle for those who want more than flash models, but not 80GB.

Amazon has all of them new and used. The 30 gb Pink is going for $345, Black for $200 all new. The used ones are going for $130.
A 80 gb Black is going for $240, does that mean they're dumping the 80s too?
As for the 30gb, it does all the same stuff as the 80gb, factly, the 2nd gen 4s, 8s and 80s seem to be incorporating all the junk the 30s been doing.

Uh, I don't think so. The Citron Zune was a gift to the Zune team. They get stuff like that.

i think they should keep the 30gb but slim it down and upgrade it. Kind of like a 2nd gen but only 30gb. That way they have can still have a mid-range device but one that's up-to-par with today's newest tech. Although i still love my 30 gig Zune. Seeing a slimmed down version with a squiggle would appeal to a lot of people I'm sure.

even if they did slim it down making it called zune 30gb 2nd gen... no one would buy it unless its like $150 which won't happen.. $199.. people rather pay $50 for the zune 80...
