Default Hulu.com

Anybody know what the format of Hulu's videos are? I was hoping beyond hope that it used FLV--of course not! Hoping to find a way to grab their streams the way I can grab 'em off YouTube, convert them and throw 'em on the Zune.

they do use flv, but it's protected. You have to buy (or pirate) some 3rd party software that watches for the streams and downloads it. Ive done it before, but it's rather cubersome and i don't remember what it's called.

They are FLV as the above poster said, but nothing seams to work to capture them. Your best bet would be a screen recorder.

Replay media catcher, that's what it was called. That finds the stream and downloads it, but trust me, it's very unstable and doesn't work for every vid. It works though and use the demo to try it out and see if you like it. When I was using it, i didn't like it because it would crash after a while for some odd reason. Sometimes it didn't even work, only a couple vids would show up and download. but here's the link here

Default Streamripper

Any chance streamripper would work on something like hulu? I know it works if you can get the video to play thru winamp, but don't know if that could be done.

It uses RTMP protocol, but it only grants access to the stream if you've also recieved a bunch of other XML rubbish from them. See my post on thread 21217 for full details.
