ZUNE FIRMWARE UPDATE FAR, FAR AWAY (I think)

MS is not updating our firmware as fast as apple does and thats wrong, whats hapening ? is time for us to have more and MS doesnt move a finger to bring the goodies we decerve. We need some radicals changes to keep us going. The competition is getting to big.

Ok someone lied to me and told me that microsoft zune was the only media player on the market for which its company was realesing new firmware for.

The updates are SUPOSSED to be quarterly....

Is the Zune in such a NEED of a Firmware update? I like my Zune as is, and im sure im not going to be able to play the games. I have a Zune 30, so im sure its going to need the new D-Pad with the 2nd Gen stuff. Either way, Im sure everything will come in due time.

And hey! Some one stole my line.

i agree. but I mean, I would still like an update you know? it just makes me feel like I'm being taken of.

Yes, they said they'll release an update every quarter, but i don't think the second one is over yet
And i haven't heard them talk anything about zune 3, except for that rumor, that it might come out in 2009
We might have a firmware update by the end of spring, or sometime in July, or by the end of the year

I know how you feel, I had an iRiver T10 for the longest time and only ONE firmware update. And it was nice, but the original still had nothing wrong with it. So I didn't see the need.

The same with the Zune, I don't have any issues. So *I* don't see a need. However im sure im nto using it to its full potential, like you or some others might be. So they might have issues. I am a firm (No pun intended) believer in "if it aint broke, don't fix it."
