Auto Sync

how can i remove files from my collection but not get them removed off my device?

like videos in your collection tab, i want to delete them to save space but then when I click delete from computer and collection, It ALSO deltes them off my zune

& the same thing for podcasts

Go to settings, go to Device, click on sync options, and choose "Forget this Device"
Then unplug your zune, replug it, and connect as a guest
That should do it

what would that do? make it a guest? whats the point of that

So that way if u delete podcasts, music, videos, or pictures from your collection it wont delete it off the zune
Isn't that what you want to do?

ahh, but will there be things that i can't do with my zune now that ive forgotten it?

I dont think so... I'm pretty sure you can still do everything as you could before
