zune.net blocked at work but not iTunes

Co-workers can download from itunes but I get blocked by our filters because Zune has a 'social' section.

Doesn't seam too fair. I requested that Zune be allowed but was denied.

Any way around the filter? It is ENA (Education Networks of America)
it is to keep students from social sites but I work in our Superintendent' Office. Our Tech dept couldn't help or wouldn't help.

You might get in trouble, but you could try using a proxy.

yeah, but the downside to proxys is that the computer runs super super slow. you know? i don't know if it's worth it.

No, not worth the trouble. Really, I would be happy if I were able to hook up my zune and transfer songs off of it onto my computer. I'm not looking to sit and download songs all day when i should be working. I just want to listen to my collection i already have.

I tried hooking up my zune and dragging songs from 'device' into the computer icon which i thought was working. The songs in my collection that I ripped from cd, transfered and play. The ones I downloaded with zunepass, transfer but won't play. We are allowed to used 3 different computers, right? (must be because the zunepass songs require internet connection which I'm not allowed)

Maybe ask the tech people to block zune.net/social, and allow access to the rest of zune.net.

try and use a proxy......thats what everyone uses at school when they decided to block youtube, but then they unblocked it.

also, can you ask the superindendant to unblock it? he probobaly has the authority to do that stuff, especially if it is shown to him that zune.net is not anything bad

Wow zune.net is blocked at that school system? It isnt blocked here but all the zune forum sites are blocked
