Default Back Engraving

I want to get the back of my Zune 80 laser engraved when I order it, but I want to know, exactly how durable are these engravings, in terms of fading and scratches? Am I going to have to completely baby the Zune to keep the engraving intact?

yeah i think they should be pretty durable because they are etched in so its not like its somethign that can fade off, for the etching to look faded the chrome around it would have to get rubbed off or scratch.

if it's anything like the ipod engraving then you should be fine. my ipod has been through hell and back and it still has the etching plain and clear on it.
