I never got a warranty for my Zune 30, when the earphone jack magically messed up I just called Microsoft and their repaired it for free. It was sad though, seeing it get put and locked up in it's coffin and shipped out.

I got a new one back though, that was nice. My old Zune had a lot of scratches on the front from my damn keys.

How good are those shields, do you own one? I bought those plastic skins from Bestbuy, they get scratched but keep the device from scratches.

Also are you still lookin for a signature?

I used an invisible shield on my iPod and it was fantastic. It never got scratched.

I would recommend getting the Zune80. I don't have one, but I can definitely tell you they have so much more of a sex appeal than the Zune30.

And that's a pretty good warranty plan you have there! Haha!

I thought that the Zune 30 was decent when it came out but it doesn't even come close to measuring up to the 80.

I doubt it. You would need an extended plan of some sort. My mom just bought an 80GB from Circuit City. They said that in 2 years she could just bring it back in even still working and they would replace it. The guy said he laughs when people try to come up with creative ways to break it when they don't have to.
