Okay, so as everyone is aware, it's really freaking hard to find accessories for the new 80G Zunes. Now, it's a bit smaller than the 30, but I'm not sure how big the original 30G Zunes were, but what I'm wondering is this: all these cases that are designed for the 30G (except for the silicone ones, because those really HAVE to be snug) should fit the 80, right? Like those nice aluminum ones I've been looking at... So, what I'm thinking is, if I put a small piece of foam in the back of the case to push the Zune closer to the front, it should fit pretty snuggly in a 30G case. I think. I hope. Has anyone tried something like this, or have a case designed for a 30G that they use for an 80G?
I'm a bit of a klutz, so I'm afraid I'll ding it all to hell before the nice ones come out. : p But as cheap as they are, I'm thinking about doing it just to see if I can. I figure I can improvise until I find one I like. I've almost talked myself into doing it.
I've been searching high and low for a nice case too only to come up short so i'm kind of contemplating getting a silicone skin w/screen protector. Any reason I shouldn't?
I got one on Ebay for $9 with shipping. I figure at that price, if it doesn't work, I won't be too heartbroken. The button hole is a large oval around all the buttons, so we'll see. I can always make them bigger if I need to. And if I screw it up, well... at least it was only $9. I'll let you guys know if it works.
I am using a piece of fleece sewn into a pouch. It is just thin enough to see through, but still protects well. This will have to do until some better case options come out.

Yes. I had an Agent 18 case for the original iPod Nano. They're actually pretty hard, though they scratch too. My sister used my Nano for a day and stuck it in her purse. By the time I got it back the case has been scratched twice. Then I switched to iSkin. Anyway, here's the Zune case

That Incipio is by far the best I've found. I'm ordering mine soon. I went by my local Best Buy/Wal-Mart/Radio Shack/FYE/Circut City and they had NO 80gb version cases.

Yeah, I was going to order mine today as well, but I figured I'd check around my area one more time tomorrow before I placed the order. I hate waiting and if possible, I'd rather get a case right then instead of waiting. I wonder how long delivery takes...
