Well, my iPod Nano died a few days ago so I was in the market for a new mp3 player and after seeing what was out there I narrowed it down to an iPod Classic and a Zune 2 80. I went with the Zune for a few reasons:
1. Everybody and they momma has an iPod, I wanted to be different.
2. The huge screen is lovely!
3. Built in Radio (even though it'll hardly get used, it's nice to have)
4. Changeable wallpapers
5. Wireless Zune to Zune transfers
6. It just looks so damn cool!
It would be nice to have an EQ not only with presets, but user adjustable as well, but it does sound pretty damn good without it.
I got to a point that I was sick of bringing a bunch of CDs with me everywhere...so it was something to replace a CD player. (I know, 2006, I was a little late on the MP3 player scene huh?)
I hate Apple.
Was curious as to what all the WiFi could offer.
Needed something big enough to hold thousands of songs.
The large screen.
Having something brown & green (my two favorite colors)
etc etc
I bought my zune because I got tired of seeing 2 much people with iPods, also I hated the touch wheel on, it sucks in -20 weather in Toronto, you have to take off your gloves to do simple things. Now I don't have that problem.
