part of me just didn't want an ipod. I heard my mom talking on the phone to her friend about getting me an mp3 player, and I told her "don't get me an ipod." She asked what I wanted to I looked thought back to why I didn't want an ipod and I remembered seeing the zune being given away on a talk show.

I picked up the Zune because it was on sale... $50 less than the ipod with the same size hd. I thought the bigger screen was a good selling point. But after the "latest" screw up from the Zune update team I'm kicking myself in the arse and is starting to think I should have picked up a ipod. I have now started to use my nano more for music than the zune because of the album mess ups. I shouldn't have to remove music to try to rename it to keep Kid Rock out of Santana music folder. The zune only has movies on it at the moment before it takes a trip somewhere else...

I bought mine because I had heard the sound was alot better, plus I wanted the bigger screen for video watching. I have both a Zune 30 and a Ipod 80 and to be honest I listen to my Zune 95% more of the time because of my Zune Pass I have. I still think podcasts are easier to use on my ipod though so I mostly use it for that now adays. But music and videos I use my Zune always.

I bought a Zune because I was sick and tired of putting up with my crappy iPod. When it finally bit the dust after 13 months it was time to get something new and the Zune has been great.

yeah i saw these and even though they are biger in size i thought they were alot better of a deal, with more customization, plus im not one to like ipod to plain boaing

As well, I thought the scroll wheel on ipods was horrible for navigation.....
