Its not possible to repeat one song, it goes through the whole playlist.

Easy. But it involves clearing your quick playlist.
Simple clear the quick playlist and add the single song to it.
Then choose repeat.

It's stupid too. If you want to listen to one song again and again, you must push a button instead of having it repeat automatically. But for a WHOLE playlist, you can have the option to have it repeat automatically.

This is one spot where I can safely and angerdly say, MICROSOFT FAILED.

For a product superior to that of the iPod, we should be able to make our repeat function repeat a single song. Damn MS is stupid sometimes.

actually i think if you track down the song and click the middle button, there should be a repeat function.

yea.. you can put one song in your quicklist, and keep playing that one, but i think this feature should be added in the next update.

lol. I've owned a $30 generic player that could repeat. Even still, as I always say, there must be a reason. I can't see someone on the development team saying "why not make it repeat the entire album or playlist instead of the one track like it should" and everyone agreeing? That's why there is a such thing as "repeat one" and "repeat all".

Gah, there are a lot of these little sort of things that I just wonder, how did microsoft not notice!?! Don't people test them!?

The zune is not capable of that.

Default You can repeat in software

Yes, I am really mad about the whole "not being able to repeat just one song, but in fact you can do it in the zune software on your computer, but not on the device. Here's how you do it: right click on the song that you want to play, click play instead of play all, and just make sure repeat is on and it should work.

This is exaclty why they should release firmware updates fairly regularly...to fix stupid problems that were most likely oversights by programmers.

Maybe if they are smart, they are trolling these boards and seeing what we want and will implement in the future...

Sometimes if you get a new song that you really like, you want to hear it over and over. Perhaps when you are trying to fall asleep or something, which is where this repeat feature would be cool if it actually worked.

The way this was made.. It's so stupid I'll bet my dad would think of it as normal.
