It was bound to happen and one point but dont worry they'll bring out the next gen version (maybe add the clock to the main screen as they brag so much about it) and screw the current users as they usually do.

well i don't i know, I mean, they didn't do too bad still. I mean, they were like at 21 million right? instead of the 24 they expected? I mean, 21 is alot! how much did Zune sell?

iPods sold were 22 million instead of the 24-25 million expected.

Yeah the problem with ipods are that the market is saturated with them. Alot of people already have them and some are even swapping their ipods. Glad to see this is starting to happen.

I predict the macbook air will not be much of a success nor drawback for apple

Not surprising considering its the only iPod which is really new and innovating.

If I owned a previous generation iPod, I would have no reason to "upgrade" to the latest one. Just like with the Zune30 and Zune80.

yeah you noticed when the ipod hit the market they were a huge hit and now its not that way the zune is crawling up the chain. and so are a lot of other MP3 companies such as Sansa and their soon to be revolutionary 12GB flash card from San-Disk. so its all food chain style in the MP3 business.

Now that apple has some serious comp. i think all makers will bring new things to the market. I cant wait to see what MS will bring, in my opinion theyre on their way to de-throning apple, not only cus of the zunes ability but also becuase of the updates they keep releasing.
