I went to Best Buy to look for a Zune 80 case of any sort that I could use at the gym until the one I ordered arrives in the mail. They had nothing, noda, zip, zilch...So, went around the corner to Circuit City. As I walked through the front doors I see a hugh display that says "Zune/ Zune Accessories".
I get all excited and run over to it, only to find it filled with I pood crap. Not one single Zune thing to be seen. All the way at the end of this hugh display in the upper left corner was one Zune 4/8 leather case. Everything else on this display was i-pood. This thing was about 16 feel wide. Talk about false advertising.
So, I guess I just wait a few more days for my case on the way in the mail.

Wish we had a Target near me. We keep getting rumors about it, but nothing yet.
I ordered a silicone one from amazon. it has an arm band with it as well. I cant wait for it to get here. Using it on the treadmill is ok, but I cant workout and tote it around very well without a holder of some sort.

I don't know if you have them near you, but the Target stores near me have about 1/2 a wall section to Zune / Zune Accessories
I was going to say this too. There's not a huge selection, but a few things. It's very disappointing that there are whole aisles of ipod crap but zilch for the zune... where's the love?!?!
Im not 100% sure because im from the UK but I hear alot about one of these companies not liking the zune and advising customers to buy ipods.

But eh, I wouldn't know. Last store I've been to was Wally World a couple weeks ago. I didn't have a whole lot of time to check out the Zune accessories cuz my fiance was trying to pull me away to go check out the Xbox games. I did see that they, too, were lacking in stocking compared to the iPod stuff ;_;
Yeah, Walmart had nothing either, but they were the ones that talked me into getting the Zune, so they're not too bad.

I've been to Best Buy/WalMart/Circuit City and Target looking for a case and the only one I've seen is the ugly brown leather one, no thanks. I'm actually contemplating getting a skin, I had one on my phone and it was fairly easy to install and did a lovely job protecting it, it even made the super fine flakes in it pop! I just haven't made my mind up yet.
I chalk it up to the Zune 2 being so new that not many aftermarket accessories available for it yet. Not to mention Best Buy doesn't carry the Zune 2 80
my freind who works at best buy said they dont even carry the zune 80 at that location. but some zune promotor came to that best buy and told the employess to encourage people to buy zunes, my freind likes the zune so he would enourage it anyway, but if best buy is telling ppl to buy ipod that really sucks. they probobly want that since ipod has so many accesories and there are huge markups and profits on accesories.
Best Buy is insanely anti-Zune. I don't know how many times I've been to the one here looking at accessories and have been informed that the ipod accessories are over there, or they just got in a new ipod accessory, or (when I was playing around with a 8gb they had on display) that the ipod had a much nicer [insert whatever here].
th target here though is awesome about Zune. Best selection of accessories out of wal-mart/Best buy/Target nd they don't try to redirect your attention.

Like I said the only reason I "CONSIDER" switching is because of accessories. As far a player goes, I prefer the Zune of the Ipod, however the Zune has some features that they need to include in their next fw update.
Accessories are a huge part of MP3 players. Docks, cases, car adapters, and other stuff. Not having anything to choose from really sucks.
