yea the stores are hurting zune and only helping ipods....even in the best buy catalogs they only show ipods not one zune ever....if the world knew about zunes the competition would be a little more fair.
I asked several BB employee's about the Zune, and 1/2 said "The What?" and the other half said ipod was better.

Believe it or not, Toysrus has a pretty nice selection of Zunes.

I went to Best Buy to look for a Zune 80 case of any sort that I could use at the gym until the one I ordered arrives in the mail. They had nothing, noda, zip, zilch...So, went around the corner to Circuit City. As I walked through the front doors I see a hugh display that says "Zune/ Zune Accessories".
I get all excited and run over to it, only to find it filled with I pood crap. Not one single Zune thing to be seen. All the way at the end of this hugh display in the upper left corner was one Zune 4/8 leather case. Everything else on this display was i-pood. This thing was about 16 feel wide. Talk about false advertising.
So, I guess I just wait a few more days for my case on the way in the mail.
every time i go to best buy i never see anyone look at the zune they either look at the ipods or other mp3s like son or what ever..i am not liking the disrespect.
target here though is awesome about Zune. Best selection of accessories out of wal-mart/Best buy/Target
Agreed. That's actually where I got my Zune from, they didn't have much of a selection as far as accessories were concerned but they had what I needed so I'm a happy camper.
Just a tip when dealing with Circuit City (and perhaps Best Buy too):
If you find a deal on their web site and want to purchase it in the store print it out and bring it with you. They have been accused in the past of having an intranet that has a copy of their Intranet web site except with different prices, so they can take you to a computer in the store, pull up the product you want on their internal site and say "nope, it sure doesn't say here that our Zune stuff is 20% off. You must have been mistaken."
I've heard bad things about BOTH of those places with bad staff in both, bad customer service in best buy(multiple times) and the managers firing employees then rehiring, paying less in CC.
Before I bought my Incipio case I went to Best Buy. They had a few cases but they were either sold out/too expensive. They had tons of iPod cases. Circuit City had the official case for $40 (what a rip) but I saw it online for $20. The silicone cases at Zune One are nice but they don't look like they protect the screen which I'm most worried about.
The crystal cases don't look bad...hopefully there's no extra room for it to move around. It would be nice to own another accessory.
every of these stores ive been to, ipods are usually at the endcap with accessories, while zune products are hidden in a corner with a small section. this will change though
yeah when i went to circuit city on June 9th 2007, they only had all ipood stuff, and barely any zune accessories...i was so close to buying an ipod but it was $249.00, instead i went with the black zune which was on sale $$219.00 ...and i made the right decision...still i wish stores advertise more Zunes and less on ipoods

This is similar to how I got my Onkyo HT-S790 7.1ch Home theater system.
We were at CC looking for a flat screen TV and liked the Samsung LN-S4150D but it was priced at $1600 and I thought I'd take a look on the net to see if I could get it cheaper...........I found it on Amazon.com for $1200 w/free shipping But while at CC looking at TV's we seen the Onkyo home theater system but they wanted $799 for it so I looked for that online too and found it on the CC website for $399. I didn't have a printer at the time so I just went in there and spoke to a sales rep who pulled it up online and honored the price!
well... if circuitcity pricing online is cheaper than in store, if you find out, they will give your the online price instead... like the jvc marshmallow headphones.. in store price $25, i go there, ask them how much, then they told me $25, i said online price is $10... they gave me that price instead..
Yeah I didn't even think about getting my Zune at Best Buy or anything like that. I knew they were basically anti-Zune so I just bought it at Target. I nearly got a sweet case but I ran out of money So Now I'm' gonna try to save up my zB$ for one. If not, I always have internet
