Default Zune>iPod-Story

Well, so there I was, sitting in the Crossroads Cinema 6 movie theater, with about 20 of my friends. We were all about to see cloverfield. My friends and I predicted that the movie theater would be packed, but since I live in a really small town, it wasnt. We were there about an hour and a half early.

So there we were, talking and tossing popcorn, when all the sudden, Miles whips out his ipod Classic. He challenges me, "Brian, wheres your z00n?" (We fight about whats better all the time in school.) I whip out my zune30, and explain what it is to all my friends around me, expecting the usual "Oooohs, and Ahhhs." BUT, in fact, everyone else whipped out a Zune of their own! I was amazed, because I really thought everyone there would be a total ifan. Then began the heated debate about whats better.

So I had about 18 people back me up (one other kid WANTED a zune, but had an ipod nano.) with how much more original and competent the Zune is over the ipod. We went over screen size, backgrounds, clocks, games, the whole works. All in all, I think Miles left the theater thinking about buying a Zune. Then the whole theater turned on wireless! It was a music sharing fiesta! I really didnt even know that many users showed up in the 'nearby' section.

Overall, that was one of my greatest Zune experiences in my life.

Great to know that even the Zune dominates iPods in small towns.

That's awesome. I can't get my nearby to show up anybody. They're all either too poor to afford a Zune or have an iPod. I know one girl at my school who's got a Zune, but I don't talk to her much.

I know at least 3 people who have a Zune at my school, boy was I surprised when they pulled theirs out because I thought I was pretty much the only one. I do believe 2 of the 3 liked the Zune but the other was "trendy and stupid" and couldn't understand the software, but the Zune doesn't need her anyways.

I've seen like 15 Zunes in the last year. It's steadily growing-- no doubt.

What a story. Nowadays you don't know who has a zune.

Dont read on if you dont want the story to be ruined.

I thought it was a really interesting story, definitely fits the hype of a American monster. I was a little disappointed that I didnt hear the end of the movie quote, "Its alive!" or whatever. Im really pulling for another movie to tie up the loose ends, even though its probably not going to happen, because thats what Matt Reeves wanted, is for everyone to be left a little nauseated and pretty confused. Also kinda sucks that you dont really get a full friggen view of him. And why do the people explode when they get bit? Like I said, a lot of loose ends, but in the end it still is a really good movie.

I heard that the whole "It's alive" thing can only be heard when you play the recording of the static at the end backwards. Also, I heard that in the end, the camera shows a shot of Rob and that girl on a ferris wheel right? Well, in the background, you can see something falling into the ocean....which is supossed to lead to the sequal....or however you spell it.

oh yeah....but your story about everyone having a Zune...THATS AMAZING! I wish i could do that at my school. Maybe I could organize a meeting with everyone that has a Zune, there's probably like six to ten people, not alot, but definitely more than those Zen's.

What a great story. I only can sync with like three people right now but when they come to Canada then real Zuneing will begin. I can't wait for the the day that I turn on wireless and.....bam!!! a giant list of people who want to share music.
