List mode has 2-sec lag vs Browse mode?

I have my music library on another pc and use my notebook with the zunesoftware to talk to it. Now today I noticed that in list mode, if I doubleclick a song it takes a 2 sec lag to play. At first I thought it was because of the network but today I noticed that in browse mode songs instantly play when selected in any column (artist/album/song). Annoying, plz fix.

Well, the Zune Software doesn't have gapless playback.
