What you hate about Zune Soft. (I got about 11)

I absolutely loath the Zune software. here are some reasons:

1. Very slow on to start up
2. very slow when clicking things
3. very slow on loading my album
4. Don't update my album images correctly
5. Don't sync my album images sometimes.
6. Multiple songs on my Zune, but not on Software.
7. Doesn't load the ratings.
8. Slow on detecting the device.
9. Support very few videos
10. Takes forever to convert
11. Won't convert unless when syncing.

and the list goes on and on......

Sounds like you have a very slow computer.

Hmm..

1. RESYNCS songs(multiples) I remove through the HDD hack.
2. Can't EASILY edit tag data(Album, Year, etc.)
3. Not all songs show up in the Browse View but they do in the List View
4. It syncs songs to my Zune under different name
5. Syncs multiples up to 4.

The old firware was perfect. Why they couldn't just add podcasting & wireless syncing (which I don't use) to it and not screw with the rest of it is my main beef with them. I don't know coding but whatever they did they screwed it up big time.

Upgrade your computer? It is a very demanding program.

I hate the software as well. Especially since I have 2 zunes. Was having no problems till I got the 2nd zune and it started auto syncing even though I've told the software not to. It decided it was wiping all the songs on the zune. Never had this problem before with the old software. I've just had to leave the current songs on the 1st zune until M$ decide to sort it. I'm surprised they've not let you go back to the old software and still use the newest firmware.

Zune Software 2 seems to have the slowness of Vista incorporated into it...

And it keeps resycning damn songs when I tell it not to sync. ****ing P.o.S.

Only one for me. It takes too much time for the software to rescan the files to add to the library.

i agree with all of yours and theres is very little music video support and the software is just to simple, for my taste. needs more additions,movies, games, more music.

i hate the fact that I must rely on a separate program (mediamonkey) to edit my metadata.

1. Video category on software and device is in bad shape (especially for me)
2. No Video Playlists
3. No Auto Playlists
4. Album Art rarely loads for video files
