well, apple had break the rule and made ipod support windows and the bootcamp thinggy.
but zune wont support mac untill they have a contract but its unlikely will happen.

Why bother?

If anyone's gullible enough to buy a Mac, then they'll probably only buy apple products in the future (iPods, etc).

According to the "social" theory, everything will be universalized. Will microsoft follow the social theory? Probably not.

As much as it would suck if it went Mac, it would convince their users to try a Zune as the software would work on it as well. So I think they should do it. Take that ****Pod off the market.

I don't see why. People who own Macs are usually enthusiasts who are Apple only fans. However I do own a Mac and a PC, I'm far from an enthusiast as I use my PC 95% of the time.

I use a PC at work and have a Mac at home. I love my Zune. It is a bit of a pain in the buttocks to have to rely on my uploads to happen at work.

I do have a PC at home with the Zune software on it, but it is so painfully slow that I try to avoid it if at all possible. If I knew I couldnt upload at work I would upgrade or replace my PC with a elcheapo pc just for Zune. As far as Mac goes...I like so shoot me.

I, too, own a Zune and I use a Mac at home (along with several PC's). I love my Mac, but did not like the new Nano's very much. I don't download a lot of music and when I do it tends to be mp3's, often from Amazon. I only use the Zune software to sync. It certainly looks nice, but is far from complete. But I really love the Zune, itself. It would be nice if it were ported to the Mac. But I doubt they will, since they would almost surely have to change its look to match the Mac OS look and feel.

thats a bad mistake not to do macs. most ipod user are pc people, not mac.why can microsoft do the same ,the macs are selling more and more.and zune is a better pmp.

It will not benefit microsoft to port the software and drivers and whatever else they would need to to make it work.

I'm sure it would cost a lot of money and apple probably doesn't want them to do it either.

We praise the world as a whole, but that small part just doesn't really matter. We are a world of computers and supercomputers, not macs and supermacs...anyone ever heard of a "supermac"?
