I'll start:
- Songs adding/moving through Albums by dragging selected songs to one album (browse view!) Also the order should be changed that way. Or Online sync that'll fix it. - Creating of new Albums, by rightclick-> newalbum or make first album in any list an icon of a new album and double-click it to enter information. - A sync with some database for track orders per cd, online sync plz. More extensive art database to sync. Common, Last.fm seems to have a extensive database...invest a few days and money to get some students to go through some record stores and all scan them. - Plz make search in list mode as well, itunes style...alot faster and easier to search. - Last but certainly not least: Easier editing in list mode, on any column/row/field, a double click should be enough to edit information. This also counts for multiple items selected by dragging/selecting excel-style! This means you can edit information quickly in list view like an excel sheet. The click and drag story. Believe me, it'll make editing very efficient and easy. A doubleclick should show the info selected nicely. The selected rows decide the height of the infofield-popup, only the selected rows show their input fields. Be sure to let shift/ctrl+click/drag do their work. Like selecting vertexpoints/faces on 3d geometry .These points will make the software a lot easier to use! Just make sure the design departments keeps it clean. Don't want to look at an excel sheet. Make some instructions videos if you will, before you start. It'll make the transition a lot easier for people. Been a bit frustrated since I've cleared it twice, changed libraries and still haven't got the albums sorted the way I want cause I can't. Oh yeah, Microsoft/Zune people, this advice is gonna cost you $10.000 . Mail me.![]() English not native language, sorry for any mistakes ; ) Last edited by ACE : 01-13-2008 at 03:26 PM. |
