Default Zune Screwed me.

Okay this time i broke my zune again... and now im totally finished.

I tired to call zune customer support and get a replacement on a fautly product.
About how my zune lcd cracked.. Well this is the story..

This is my 2nd zune that i broke..

And Well It wasnt my fault this time and well i was charging it on my 360 and i just heard a buzzing sound and then i left it and walked out and when i came back i turned it on and it looked like this..
+ YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

And so i called them and they siad that cant help me since everything except the screen is covered.. and im completely broke so im pretty much done with zune stuff.. unless someone can help me.. so please say something ..

sigh.

Well, at least you can sue for sexual harassment now.

Buy another screen, look for a cheap one on fleabay. or there is a company that will replace it for you, google rapid repair. Hope this helps

C'mon sexual harassment panda boy.

Honestly, for the price it would take to repair the zune, you'd be better off buying another one.

You can still load music onto it and play it over your 360.

I find it shocking that the damage is not covered by warranty. Tell them that the LCD crack is not from a drop or anything, but the screen got "damaged" while charging via Xbox.

It's true though, any LCD break isn't covered by warranty. That's why so many people were complaining about that alleged expanding battery deal awhile back.

Ask for a supervisor when you call, tell them EXACTLY what happened.

Hm.
well if you feel lucky,

http://www.retail-recyclers.com/categories.asp?id=PAU

this is a place where retail stores send all the merch people return to them, sometimes because its broken, sometimes, because they dont want it.

they have a ton of stuff for cheap, like, 2 bucks cheap, but you'd be taking a risk.

I've personally purchased 2 psp's off there for 10 bucks a piece, 1 of them turns out was perfectly fine, (80$ profit), while the other one only had a busted screen. (60$ profit). Either way, your still making money. You can check if they have zune screens, or maybe zunes!

Good luck, sorry to hear about your mishap. :-/ Those darn 360 watts.
