I think this firmware is causing a few problems for my zune that it didn't have before. examples some time the backlight flashes and also if i turn my sound down it lags. is anyone else having these problems?

It definitely fixed the battery issue... I hoped that it would address the occasional spontaneous reboots that seem to occur when skipping forward in a shuffled playlist, but no luck there.

Did anyone else notice that updating the firmware deleted all their Radio presets?

when I honk my horn in my car with the zune plugged in with the aux, it shuts the zune down.

I wonder if this will fix that.

What it did was break up albums by songs whenever a song was by an artist featuring someone else. It also made it exceedingly slow to turn on. Sometimes having to click close, open, close and open again to get it to turn on. It also added yet another ability (podcasts) which along with wireless syncing and sharing music I have no intention of ever using. But the GUI is super huge so I guess that's nice. I guess. Supposedly. Maybe.

OIC. I was one of the people who had trouble uploading the firmware. After trying for a few hours and following some advice on-line I finally got version 2.2 to work. I don't remember all of the steps I took. The other day I tried uploading the latest firmware and got the same error message. I decided not to bother.
