As others have said, I never thought about it that way. I love my Zune and it's very nice to me. I'm REALLY excited about the new firmware though! This post reminds me that Zune owners really create a community. It IS a social thing. Everyone works together to help everyone out. I haven't done much posting on this site, but I have gotten a lot of useful information and downloads from it so I thank everyone for it. Looking forward to November 13th but am glad I was an original zune owner!

Man, this whole thread is one of the most sentimental things I've read on this board. Ace, don't take this wrong, but your a poet. That first post almost made me emotional.

Moving on: I can't wait for v2. It's everything you could want with a media player, PLUS the social. Could you ask for more? (Evidently you can, there's a whole thread about what you'd like in your own firmware, but most of that is coming in v2.) IMHO, you can't. This is the best it's ever been, and in less than 2 weeks, it's going to get even better.

You have to update them....If I were you, I'd try out the old firmware a little and then update. You'll appreciate the new firmware so much more...
