Wow, I... was thinking the exact same thing. I'm keeping my Zune 30 and all the Zunes I buy later for this reason. I'm also keeping the old Zune software on my other computer, if it doesn't update it automatically. (If it does, I'll keep it disconnected from the internet.)
It is nice knowing that we were the first to own Zunes. That'll be made even nicer if the Zune really starts getting more popular!
