last.fm song logging

Someone suggested trying a program called Zenses (www.zenses.org) for this. I tried it and it works with the Zune! ;D

It has some issues as it's only in beta stages but I can use it just fine with Vista and a Zune.

So with more releases coming it can only get better too.

A little more specific. What does it do? How do you install it? What is needed for it to run? Is it free?

I'll see if I can answer some of your questions, Phunk.

It indeeds works with my Zune, it's scanning right now. It IS free, but it's primarily for Creative Zen players.

This software scans the library on your device, scrobbles them for you (or marks them if you listened to half of the song at least) uploads them to your last.fm "last played" list.

The only thing I miss is that songs played in your software aren't scrobbled. I miss the support for that with iTunes, but oh well.

Zune needs to get open source!

For anyone how doesn't know what the hell last.fm is www.last.fm

Basically a music lovers site which records the music you listen too and then recomends new music, it also has a social networking side to it, although the main focus is the music.

Great site check me out on it and give me a shout.

Would be awesome to get my zune working with last.fm

Yea, I use Last.fm at times. It's awesome, especially when you're looking for new music.

doesn't work at all for me. uhg i've pretty much given up on last.fm

too bad you can't sync with winamp (my wmp 11 is teh brokened)

it works! one of my regrets about the zune was the lack of last.fm support, but this works. I was told to dl 1.4, so that's what i did. Does 1.7 work with the zune? The one track I tested this on recorded the wrong time, but I'll figure that out. Cool. Thanks for the heads up.

It will work with ver. 2.0 but you have to update the time yourself
