Default Keep the songs forever?

Hello All, My free trial of the zune pass expired yesterday (November 29th). However, I am still able to play songs that I had downloaded on the Zune AND my computer. I logged into Zune to see if it just had to update. I can still Listen to the songs on my computer!! Has anyone else experienced this? I thought the idea was that if you stopped the pass you would not longer have access to your tunes....

My trial ends in like 2 days, so I'll try it out.

Sounds good! Heck, If this is the case I would take the pass!! I just hope that I am not experiencing an "Undocumented Feature" or you can only keep the ones you get with the trial....

The Zune Pass allows you to download as many song/albums that you want (from the marketplace). I have only read thus far that it worked kind of like Rhapsody or Napster, meaning that you can only listen to the songs as long as you keep paying the monthly subscription.

One thing that I noticed while under the free subscription is that you can stream a whole song while signed into the marketplace instead of just a little clip. I do not know if that was because I had the pass or simply because I was signed in though.

The same thing happen with me. My pass expired on the 29th, and all songs still work. Woot.

Sure can! Anything you have that is .mp3, .wma, or .acc will play with no issues.

If you want to keep your music in the event zune pass disables them or if you have gotten shared music, use one of the plays to record it to your computer.テつ*テつ*Use a male-to-male stereo link cable to connect the Zune headphone to the mic of the computer.テつ*テつ*Save it as an MP3 file and add it to your library.テつ*テつ*You'll have it as long as you want it.テつ*テつ*I tried this using the free version of WavePad http://www.nch.com.au/wavepad/masters.html.テつ*テつ*The sound is clean as long as your Zune is not linked to the computer ( charging via USB).

I like that idea, looks like there are many ways around things and the music industry ought to just give up.

Ah, yes... I came home from the weekend and now none of those files work on the computer NOR the Zune.... oh well.. It is still almost worth 15 bucks a month if it can stop you from buying just ONE crappy album!

I'm starting to feel the same way...it's almost worth it...especially being able to stream the entire song without downloading, guess thats what the online playlists are for, doh!
