Just get tunebite.
I got the pass downloaded 270 something songs yesterday
and ran them all though tunebite 192kpbs MP3
They sound great and it only took 4 hours for 270 songs on this HORRIBLE computer.

tunebite is about 20 bucks.
so $35 for ALL the music you could ever image sept for Tool and Led Zeppelin

Ok, stupid Zewbie question.

Lets say I get the ZunePass and Tunebite and I convert a bunch of tunes to MP3, is there anything stopping me from then converting those to WMA's?

Only reason I would possibly do this would be to save a little space since the WMA's are smaller.

if you want to keep songs forever. you need to buy soundtaxi drm converter. you can take the drm off songs you download in the zune marketplace. and so far it works for me

Yes, you can do that.
Tunebite allows many formats to convert to...
M4A-MP3-OGG-WAV-WMA-WMAPro

You can also convert video to...
3GP-MP4-WMV7-WMV9-XVid

You can also just take the music out of a video and you can convert that into...
M4A-MP3-OGG-WAV-WMA-WMAPro

And it does it really fast.
Depending on your sound card (integrated works as well),
You can get 8x speeds (8 hours of music will convert in only 1 hour)
