Default How does your pass "expire"?

So I'm day two or so into the Zune Pass trial and think I am going to keep it. Now as far as I understand, if I leave it alone and do nothing, it will charge my card the $14 whenever my trial ends, correct? And once my first month ends, it just keeps automatically charging my account until I decide to delete it, right? Because I keep seeing people say their Zune Pass "expired" and I wonder what they mean by that...shouldn't it just stay active month to month until you decide to cancel, or do you really have to sign up for it all over again every month?

I don't believe it will charge your card when it expires (but check it a day or two before, just to play it safe).

Zune Pass uses DRM to control licensing. So, the songs you downloaded need to "phone home" to check that they are still valid. When the Zune Pass expires, the songs cannot be played on your computer anymore, and I believe that the Zune's music will expire at the next sync.

That's not really what I meant...I mean, if I keep my Zune Pass and it charges my card after the 14 day trial is up, shouldn't it just keep charging my card every passing month without me having to do anything? Like with Netflix...I have an account with them, and I know on the 16th of every month they will automatically deduct the charge from my account, until the day I decide to cancel my service with them. Is Zune Pass the same way? Do they just charge my account every month automatically? Because this whole expiration thing makes me think you have to sign up for the Pass every month, and that makes no sense to me.

And I realize you need to hook your Zune up to the computer for it to sync at least once a month so the songs remain playable, but I'm assuming they don't all disappear at the end of every monthly cycle and you have to go re-sync all your music again, correct? Because if I have to re-sync all my music back onto my Zune every month, forget it...

My zune pass renews itself every month. I don't think the trial renewed itself, however.
