Zune Pass Annoyances

So I have the One Month Zune Pass, and I have for pretty much the whole year. I absolutely love it, and it's my #1 selling point to all my Apple fanboy friends.

What sucks is every month, the subscription ends and I can't play the Marketplace music. I can play music I've downloaded off an FTP or pirated from way back when (before I used the Pass), basically anything not from Zune still works.

The only solution to this (I even called in about it) is to delete everything and start over. Every month. Tech support told me I would just have to deal with it (in all fairness, the lady and her superior had no clue what they were talking about).

So, when the ZuneHD comes out, I don't want this issue. I'm certain this issue probably stemmed from an account mix-up I had (involving multiple accounts) so I think I'll make a completely new account and see if that works. Any other ideas?

also, would you recommend a zune pass? I use MP3 rocket, but I'm not sure if it legal or not. I would rather know I'm not breaking the law, and pay.

dude if file sharing was really illegal then why hasn't the US government bann it form all isp in the country? and the zune pass is $15 a month to rent music and you get to keep 10songs free ... although this is useful most of the songs i download (i use Ares) takes too long to show up in the marketplace and at the end of the day i own those songs anyway.

no its illegal but im point is although its illegal nobody really reinforces it for example you can get away with littering even though its against the law but you cant get away with smoking weed or taking crack ..get the point?

It sounds to me like an issue with the monthly renewal process of your Zune Pass.

since the topic at hand is an issue with a one month...i'm going to throw my random problem out there too. I was using a one month Zune Pass for about 6mths and everything was great until the 4.0 software came out and i got my Zune HD. After i got the updates and excitedly plugged in my Zune....only some of my "purchased" items from my Zune pass will sync...so i was like what ever just re d/l them. THEN my subscription renew came around and it refuses to update and give me my 10 songs....it expired yesterday and yet i was till able to d/l songs early this morning (9-18-2009) and i was still able to even though it still said expired....soooo, i bought the 3 mth pass in hopes of getting my songs and not to my surprise....it still hasn't updated.....WTF???
