A possible side-step in the DRM battle!

Hey guys,

This is my first post here at Zune Boards and I might have a solution to the DRM battle and Zune Pass. I used to have a Creative Zen (funny now that I have a Zune! I have such a hard time keeping them straight haha) but had all my music on iTunes all in the AAC format. Thus I had to find a way to convert it into the WMA format, a program called jHymn helped me in this aspect. It also helps remove the DRM from those songs protected under iTunes. I was wondering if any of the people in this forum have tried this before and if it was successful or not.

the converter might not work because the itunes songs are protected

Sounds plausible, but from what I heard, the DRM's on ZunePass are different than on iTunes... worth a shot though!

I use a program called 'Protected Music Converter' so I can use my Zune songs on iPhone.
It works, no problem, it just also takes off the meta data, so I then have to put it through WinAMP's auto-tagger, and hope they are all right

lol

I can post a cracked version of it later if anyone wants it.
