Default Can I store songs from the Zune pass on an external?

I have a reeeal small internal harddrive (40gb) =[.
Considering I have an 80gb zune, this obviously could lead to problems in the future. Sooo, i have the zune pass. Can I store these songs on my external, and still have them play correctly? Also, if my pass expires while they are on the external will I lose them?

All help is greatly appreciated!

Yes, just set the Zune's default folder to the external drive.

Also, if my pass expires while they are on the external will I lose them?

You would lose them I think. But not if you did something to them first.

It's legal.
Tunebite is quite nice. Does videos too, if you invest in those.

Not if you get it right from the company that makes it. (99% of the time).

Its 'legal'.

Basically what you are doing is this: You are paying a subscription fee to rent music. Your agreement is that you can use that music on 3 PC's and 3 Zune's as long as your rent payment is up to date. With Tunebite you are theoretically playing the music you are renting and recording it to another medium. Think back to the days of cassette tapes and putting the recorder up against the stereo and recording the song. Tune Bite is just a tool that makes doing such a thing easier.

Is it legal? Yeah, as long as you are using it for your own use and not sharing the files afterwards.

Is it ethical? You have to make that decision.
