Default Two Zunes and One Zune Pass or Zune Market Place for that matter.

I currently have a brown Zune, and I am giving a white Zune to my wife. I got to wondering if I could manage and sync both Zunes with my Marketplace account and if I get Zune Pass will is support both, or do I have to get her separate accounts? Anyone had any Experience with this?

I believe that you can host 3 zunes with one subscription account. I think you should double check it though. www.zune.net

When you hook up a different Zune to your computer than you own, the Zune program forces you to register it as a "Guest" Zune, and won't let you fully sync any songs to it. I think I have found a way around that.

With the Zune software open (you don't have to be syncing to the device), copy the .xml file off of your Zune called "WMPInfo" and paste it on your harddrive. This file contains the "name" of your Zune.

After doing this, hook up your friend's Zune. You should get a message that asks you if you want to register that Zune as a "Guest". In this window, click "Cancel" and go and open Windows Explorer. Now copy the WMPInfo.xml document off of your friend's Zune and put it in a seperate location from your Zune's WMPInfo.xml file.

Now, go and copy the .xml document from your harddrive that was on your Zune (you should still have the Zune program running) and paste it over your friend's Zune's WMPInfo.xml file.

Now disconnect your fiends Zune, reconnect it and, voila! It's your Zune (but not really ). You can now sync your entire library permanently to your friend's Zune.

After you do this, keep the Zune program running, go back into explorer and paste your friend's original WMPInfo.xml file back onto his Zune so he can hook it up to his computer again.

This is especially useful if you have multiple Zunes and only one computer. Just copy the WMPInfo.xml file off one of your Zunes onto all of your others and leave it there. No more messing around with the Zune software!
Have fun

Well, when I had my 14-Day Trial, I was using the pass on my computer, my brother's, and my sister's. They just had to use my login and password. Probably works in your case too if you have 2 computers. If you only have one, then just go with that mod one post above mine.

Me and my fiance use my zune pass. He has his own account set up, but there is no reason to buy two zune passes if you are in the same house. We both used his 14 day trial, but when it expired, so did the music. Once I signed up for the pass, we are both able to sync without problems using my account (usually always signed on).

Change your settings to MANUAL sync and you won't have to worry about automatically syncing her music to your device. I usually check the "RECENTLY ADDED" to see whether or not I want to sync what he has downloaded (usually NOT).
