Default 1 month subscription

I subscribed for one month.
My question is, does the Zune Pass automatically subscribe for the next month when the first month is over (and bill you an extra 15 bucks), or do you have to manually cancel the subscription at the end of the first month?

If you paid with a card, it's automatic.
They want all the money they can get out of you.
If you want out cancel at the end of the month.

As far as I know it automatically bills you for the next month. At least for me it does..well during the first 2 months it did. And I've had it for like 3-4 months now. And I've only been billed for 2 months of the zune pass so far..according to my mom. We think their going to bill us for the other 1 month or 2 later on...but yeah it's pretty complicated. If your going to cancel your subscription I suggest you do it like a week or a week and a half earlier before the day it's suppose to run out. Because they billed me a week prior to the day my pass was to expire.

Oh crap... Any way to find out whether I've been billed for the second month? (Besides looking at bills)
And how would you cancel the subscription?

Go to the place where you ordered it from, you can cancel it there. You can cancel it the day you buy it, and It'll be good for the whole month.

Haha, I should've done that! Now I just hope I haven't been billed for the second month...

True...or you can do what I do...Download thousands of dollars worth of music from the zune marketplace. And before your subscription runs out use a program called Tunebite or Soundtaxi to make copies of that song.

Which pretty much means you get to keep (copies) of the drm downloaded zune marketplace songs.

Or you can try that spoiler - highlight to read: FairUse4WM program and literally hack/take the drm off your songs. *WARNING DOING THIS IS ILLEGAL*

But yeah I highly suggest you get tunebite and tunebite your drm zune pass music to keep it.

You can also call Microsoft(Zune Customer Support) and cancel it. It's what my friend did...I don't plan on canceling my subscription though until my mom bothers me about it and asks me to cancel it. So far she hasn't really cared...
