Default Windows Media Player playback

Hopefully someone can assist me with this.

I recently built a new system running Windows Vista Ultimate. Previously I'd been using XP Pro.
On my XP system, I would download music with my Zune Pass and playback songs / build playlists in WMP with the new software (for autoplaylists, etc).

With my new Vista box I'm attempting to do the same thing and recieve an error (without error code) whose help page takes me to a MS page about installing a sound card.

WMP plays back my MP3 files without issue, however my belief is that WMP hasn't accessed/downloaded the DRM rights to my Zune Pass content.

Is anyone aware of a way to resolve this issue?

Have you logged in to Zune recently and downloaded the DRM Rights for the new computer?

Yes. The media plays back in the Zune software fine. I just prefer WMP for playlist building and playback on my PC.

[Edit]
Based upon some other recommendations I've found online, I grabbed the Napster DRM Reset utility and ran it with no success. I had to redownload tracks with the Zune software (as they wouldn't play anymore) but the tracks still will not play with WMP.

Have you tried getting the latest drivers for your sound card?
