Rights are unprotected when you sync to your Zune???Why????

After i sync songs that i downloaded with the zune pass....i check their media rights and it says that the songs are unprotected....Why???? would this help for keeping the songs longer....But yet in the library they are protected....

So would that mean that if you tranfer your songs to another computer would the songs be protected or unprotected????....therefore being able to keep the songs in your library forever

Probably so you can be able to send those music files via wi-fi. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to play them.

Couldn't we just recopy all of the files back off of the Zune, and therefore keep them forever?

When I check the rights of my files they show up as protected...
