Default Not all songs are free with Zune Pass?

I just got my Zune Pass, but it seems some albums require Points, even though I have the Zune Pass. For example, Stadium Arcadium from Red Hot Chili Peppers, I think 2 Albums from O.A.R. are undownloadable too...anyone know if thats normal, or if somethings wrong?

yeah... some artists have an extra bit of legal issues with certain songs and sometimes whole albums. There are even some major artists that won't even let you download at all.

Metallica is one that I can think of that doesn't let you download with the pass

Led Zeppelin isn't available at all.

And a lot of really popular pop and rap songs are either not available or just not purchasable with the pass.

Well I realized I wouldn't be getting anything from The Beatles or Zep, but its kind of a let down that theres nothing on the Zune pass saying anything about this. Oh well, its still a good deal.

It is normal, The Beatles are very restrictive, and I am sure there is fine print about this.

EDIT- Yep, it says millions of songs, nothing about all songs in the marketplace.

But, if you want to explore what’s out there and try songs before purchasing them, the Zune Pass offers you access to millions of tracks for $14.99 per month. The Zune Pass provides a Zune user with a music catalogue that not only offers access to more than 2 million tracks, from a wide-range of artists at launch, but is dynamic and will continue to grow and evolve over time.

Do you live outside of the US, have Paypal, and want the Zune Pass? If so PM me.

Im sorry if im commiting forum necromancy but, not only does zune pass not allow you to get certain artists, when you cancel the subscription, you loose acssess to all of your music, unless you can crack the drm.

well of course... I dare you to find a subscription music service that doesn't have a DRM that locks your music down after canceling.

Use Mp3Tag to get your music to show up as playcount on Zune.net

I know this thread is a little old, but I'm just trying to get some opinions. Should I buy a Zune pass or should I buy points? I never knew that the pass did not give you burn rights.

The Zune pass is worth it if you plan on renewing it for awhile (or stripping DRM)

Thats just dumb, limewire is a good option but a lot of the music doesnt have metadata for album art and so forth.. forgive my ignorance ,cause im still learning any ideas would be helpful

@xyrcncp - I think TuneBite might
@PickleMan - If you've got the pass, you can play songs downloaded off the marketplace more then 3 times...
