If you will be using the HD capabilities a lot, you might want to wait until the 64 GB Zune HD comes out. When the first (non-CD) MP3 players came out, they could hold very few songs and it took a while for the capacities to increase, so people that had many songs needed to wait a while before they could put all of them on their MP3 player.
The same goes for HD content on small touch screen devices (both of which are still fairly new technology), but at least it will not take as long to get a decent amount of additional capacity. i.e., Instead of capacities going from 256 MB to 512 MB to 1 GB to 2 GB, etc., they are now going from 32 GB to 64 GB to 128 GB.
